"Our Children Ask the World of Us" @ Annual Peace Fair in Brunswick

Bob Marley's "Get Up, Stand Up, Don't Give Up the Fight" inspired this poster in honor of the 9th Annual Peace Fair in Brunswick. The theme of the fair this year is "our children ask the world of us." The poster is now on permanent display at the office of Five River Arts Alliance.

Detail of Wall of Peace
by Washington DC artist Andy Shallal

In a small neighborhood cafe in Washington DC
called BUSBOYS AND POETS is a wall of peace
that will bring you to tears (or should...)

From Brunswick artist Ed McCartan (3rd photo from top on the left):
"Peace activist Selma Sternleib and I share a laugh at the wonderful Brunswick Peace Fair. A great turnout, great response and true education about important issues of our day."

Yes, Ed, the positive energy throughout the day was inspiring and uplifting. I so enjoyed the involvement of the young people who were engaged in the Peace Fair for the first time. We will indeed "teach them well and let them lead the way."
